Peacefully at London Health Sciences Center - University Campus on Monday, June 4, 2012 Peter Goertz at the age of 66. Loving husband of Judy (nee Naus). Father and grandfather of Rob (Julie), Zack, Mikaela; Dan (Cara); Linda (Jay Cudney), Zoe, Lexi, Aaron, Simone; Charlie Fazekas. Cherished brother of John (Trudy), Mary (Tony) Sleegers, Anna Wilds (Mike), the late Joseph (Wilma), Liz (Hans) Boere, Ben (Pat), Henk (Carol), Tony (Margo); brother in law of Herman (Theresa), Henry (Rosemary), Tina (Bill) Vandervelden, Mary (Frank) Vanderweyst, Harriet (Tony) Goncalves, Joe (Cathy) and Gary (Marg). Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, June 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Strathroy, on Friday, June 8th at 11:00 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Inurnment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Peter.
