Obituary of Hellen Dawson

Peacefully while travelling home from a trip out west on June 6, 2012, Ilean Hellen (LeGras) Dawson (nee Mann) of Strathroy, passed in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Louis LeGras (1975) and Gordon Dawson (1988). Loving mother of Phillip (late Heather) of British Columbia, Michael LeGras of Strathroy, Brian LeGras of Strathroy, Marie (Rick) Russell of British Columbia, Rosemary (Wolfgang) Letkemann of Strathroy, Judith (Barry) Campbell of Strathroy, Christopher (Sharon) LeGras of Parkhill, Mary Anne (Peter) Nikkel of Strathroy, and Louis (Lisa) LeGras of Strathroy. Missed by Gordon's children Raymond and Bob Dawson, Darlene Drury and Cheryl Welch. Cherished grandma of Paul (Shannon) LeGras, Michelle LeGras, Sean (Nicole) LeGras, Noah LeGras, Rebecca (Jay) Pallister, Michael LeGras, Tara (Ryan) McFadden, Stephanie (Shawn) Barrette, Adam Letkemann, Brian LeGras, Jenny Handforth, Amie (Jeff) Groot, Matt Letkemann, Jason LeGras, Katie LeGras, Ryan LeGras and Katie Letkemann, and many great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Roberta (Bill) Graham. Predeceased by her siblings Mary McGuire, Fern Calcutt, Bernard Mann, George Mann, Jake Mann and Kathleen de Groot. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. where a service will be held on Wednesday, June, 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Steve Boose officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. In memory of Hellen, donations may be made to World Vision.
