Obituary of Maria Couto

Suddenly, at her home in Strathroy on Thursday, July 5, 2012 Maria De Lourdes Do Couto (nee Faria) of Strathroy in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Adelino Do Couto. Loving mother of Lucia (Joe) Goncalves and Orminda (Joao) Alves. Also loved and always remembered by her grandchildren; Donny (Shannan) Goncalves, Jimmy (Jennifer) Goncalves, Laura Goncalves, Paula Alves and Mark Alves. Predeceased by her endeared grandson Kevin Goncalves (2007). Greatly cherished by great-grandchildren; Tyler Goncalves, Selena Alves, Jesse Goncalves, Rozlynn Goncalves, Joshua Douglas and Olivia Hayman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, July 8th from 2-5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, July 9th at 11:00 am with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Entombment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum, London. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Maria.
