Obituary of Jeronimo Gomes

Peacefully taken into the Lord's hands at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Jeronimo De Freitas Gomes of Strathroy in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Judy Gomes (Azevedo). Loving father of Marc (Patricia) Gomes and cherished grandfather of Victoria and Alicia Gomes. Also survived by his brother Luis (Maria) in the Azores and his sister-in-law Alzira (Jose) Azevedo. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, September 28 from 5-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Saturday, September 29 at 10 am with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery, Strathroy. Prayers will be held at the funeral home Friday night at 7 pm. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
