Obituary of Frances Huizinga

On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, God in his infinite wisdom took unto Himself Frances Huizinga, who after a lengthy time of much pain and suffering laid down peacefully just after she was dressed by the nursing staff in the home where she had stayed only a week. She passed away very peacefully and without pain at the last moments. She leaves behind her husband of close to 60 years Hink (Henry) Huizinga, her daughters Diana (Epp) De Vries, Alice (Jim) Leonard, Francis (Andy) Kassies and son Peter (Michelle) Huizinga. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Predeceased by one brother and one sister and her parents. Our comfort is that she is now no more subject to all the pains and illness she has experienced for so many years. God has given and taken. His name be praised in life and also in death. Friends will be received on Sunday, November 25th from 6-9 pm at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second Street, Strathroy where a service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 26th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Harry Zekveld officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations will be accepted for her favorite charity "Word & Deed". A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Frances. Denning Bros.
