Obituary of John McPhall Ferguson

John McPhall Ferguson “Mac” of Golden, Colorado and formerly of Strathroy, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on August 27th, 2018 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Audrey Ferguson (Coates) for almost 69 years of marriage. Dear father of Lynn Wong (David) of Golden, Colorodo and Ann Morgan (Geoffrey) of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. Dear grandfather of Katherine Wong of Golden, Colorado and Caroline Wong of Dillon, Colorodo. Brother of Bette Ferguson of London, Ontario and the late Madeline Patterson and Jean Houston. Inveterate travellers in their RV, Mac and Audrey visited family and friends in the Strathroy area almost every year. A memorial gathering will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe Street, West, Strathroy; on October 20th, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. with memories of Mac being shared at 4:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Mount Carmel United Church Cemetery, Mount Brydges or a charity of one’s choice.
