Obituary of Betty Booth

Lillian "Betty" Booth went to be with her Lord after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife for 32 years to Jack Booth. Betty is also survived by her loving sister Lois Wood, and her brother-in-law, Dr. Neil Snider. Remembered as our beloved mother, she will be greatly missed by her children, Julia Hauck, Mary Lou Barton (Harold), Rev. Gerald Spoor (Sandy), Jean Nicholls (Brian), Michelle Lustig (Dan), Michael Keefe, and Scott Keefe (Joanne). Betty will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Margaret Payne, and her sister Marlie Snider (June 2005). A memorial service will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church, 264 Princess St., Strathroy, on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2:00pm with Pastor Doug Watson officiating.
