It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Burnke, on January 6, 2026, at Age Care, Parkhill, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late James “Bud” Burnke. She was a devoted mother to Shannon Burnke and the late Shawn Burnke, and a forever cherished grandmother to Zachery Parkins and Hunter Parkins.

Sylvie was known for her stubborn yet loving and caring nature, she touched the lives of all who knew her. Her passion for animals and love of landscaping brought beauty and joy to her world and those around her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Denning’s of Strathroy to celebrate her life and share memories.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
