Obituary of Connie Kinsman

Helen Marie Constance “Connie” passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in her 93rd year at Strathmere Lodge.

Connie was predeceased by her parents Grant and Vera (Riley) Beattie, her loving husband Orley, and her granddaughter Lindsay (Tim). She will be deeply missed by her children Jim (Diane) and Tim (Trudy); cherished Gram of Carrie, Carter (Cailin), and Dylan (Mikayla); and loving Gigi of Kasey and Miller. Connie will also be remembered fondly by her dear cousin Anna Phillips. She was predeceased by her companion Donald Pierce.

A longtime member of North Ekfrid United Church and the UCW group, Connie lived a life of faith and community.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Strathmere Lodge for their care and support.

As per Connie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Longwoods Cemetery in the spring.
