Obituary of Lynda Margaret Augsbury

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Margaret Augsbury, on November 24, 2025, in her 78th year. 

Beloved wife of Lee Augsbury for 48 wonderful years. Cherished sister of Marilyn (Dan) Coward, sister-in-law to Wray Taylor, and Nancy Galsworthy, and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lynda was predeceased by her parents, Freda and Cecil Galsworthy, and siblings Elizabeth Taylor and Ken Galsworthy.  

Lynda dedicated over 30 years to her career as a Registered Nurse, spending most of her time caring for the tiniest patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her compassion and skill touched countless lives. 

Outside of work, Lynda was a talented cross-stitcher, an avid crossword puzzler, and a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan. Her creativity, sharp mind, and enthusiasm for life will be remembered by all who knew her. 

As per Lynda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11am-1pm, at Denning’s of Strathroy, followed by a private family interment at Strathroy Cemetery.
