Obituary of Dorothy Marguerite Williams

Dorothy Marguerite Williams passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Thedford, Ontario, she was the beloved daughter of Eldon and Anne Laird, both predeceased.

Dorothy was a devoted mother to Michael (Evelyn) of St. Catharines and Lee Anne (Ken) of London. She was a cherished grandmother to Bryan (Victoria) and Allison Williams, and James Paige, all of St. Catharines.

She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie Manning and brother-in-law Bruce Manning, as well as her brother Terrence Laird and his wife Margaret. Dorothy is survived by her brother-in-law Keith Williams (Kathy) of London, Ontario, and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy had a lifelong love of animals and found joy in the companionship of her dogs and cats. She dedicated many years of service to the Red Cross before retiring in 1995.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am, at Denning’s of Strathroy, followed by an interment at Pinehill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Ontario are encouraged in her memory.
