Obituary of Maria Trindade Neto

Peacefully with her sister by her side at Strathmere Lodge on May 29^th, 2025, Maria Neto passed away at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband Jose Neto. Dear mother of the late Edalberto (1974). Survived by her siblings Benvinda (the late Luis) Pereira, David Bettencourt, Jose (Carmina) Bettencourt, and John (Mariana) Bettencourt. Predeceased by her siblings Manuel Bettencourt, Antonio Bettencourt, and Conceição (nee Bettencourt) Cordeiro. Maria will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Maria loved crocheting and spending time at church. She made many special friendships within the church and loved her community. She sang in a choir in Portugal before moving to Canada. Maria loved travelling with her beloved husband.

Visitation will take place on Sunday June 1^st, 2025, at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church at 11:00am on Monday June 2^nd, 2025. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. A light lunch will follow back at the church.
