Obituary of Robert van der Linde

It is with profound pain and sadness that we must announce the passing of our beloved Papa (father), Robert Van Der Linde, who peacefully departed this world on March 13, 2025, at 6:15am, at the tender age of 79yrs old. His life was filled with love, laughter and he will be deeply missed. Throughout his life he had an amazing ability to make others smile, he cracked jokes and made silly faces to make us giggle. He has left us with a huge legacy of love, and responsibility to those he loved so dearly. He is survived by his children Bree Crosby (Heavenly Sky and Halo Genesis), Jennifer Crosby and family, Bruce (Karen) Crosby and family, Ward (Jenessa) Crosby and family, his loving and devoted sister Hanny Deboer and family, and his older brother Anton van der Linde and family.

Robert always kept in loving memory his fiancée Noreen Hurst, mother-in-love Dorothy Marie Hurst, mother Corry van der Linde, Father Anton van der Linde, his favorite dog Rusty close to his heart. Robert will be remembered with fondness and love by his 12 grandchildren, 10 great grand children and a new baby on the way!

Though our hearts are broken we find comfort in the memories of a life well lived and the love he shared with us. He will forever remain in our hearts.

A close family & friends graveside service will be held on March 19^th, 2025, at 3:00pm at

Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2001 Dundas St, London, ON N5V 1P6.
