It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Fred Warriner Jr. at the age of 58 on February 17th, 2025 after a brief illness.

Fred was a kind and gentle soul, as generous with those he loved as he was with strangers in need. Fred was a voracious reader, like his mom Pat, and he acquired his quick dry wit from his dad, Fred Sr. Fred was a crossword genius who patiently shared his tricks with his puzzle-challenged sister. He was a home Jeopardy master, a collector of items he valued, an astronomer and a self-taught accomplished musician. Fred played many instruments and performed in a band for many years, but he was happiest with a guitar in his hands.

“Freddy” was deeply loved by his dad Fred, his mom Pat (2010), sister Cate (Carlyle), brother-in-law Bruce, nephew Dylan (Marisa) and niece Bronwyn. Unfortunately, he will miss the arrival of his great nephew who he was very excited to welcome to the family. Fred’s song was cut short far too soon, but we know he is now breathing easy and jamming with his heroes.
